BEHA stands as the leading supplier of membrane technology, offering tailored solutions for industries such as Power Plants, Food & Beverage, and Heavy Industry. From system manufacturing to installation, we prioritize ecological development and transnational knowledge sharing projects. Our expertise extends to industrial water treatment, desalination technologies, and domestic wastewater treatment systems. With years of operational practice and engineering excellence, we craft customized solutions to optimize water consumption and reduce costs while providing continuous technical support.

INDUSTRIAL
We tailor industrial water treatment solutions with years-long operational practice and engineering expertise. Having worked in various sectors, we know the utmost importance of understanding the unique circumstances of our clients.

UN World Water Development Report (2017) estimates that industrial water consumption is responsible for 22% of the global water use. Each industry requires a different quality of water. We work closely with clients to understand their needs and manufacture the most cost-efficient and sustainable system possible.

We prioritize to build longstanding relationships with our industrial customers. We develop long-term projects for our clients, to optimize their industrial water consumption and to reduce water costs. Our engineers provide continuous technical services during and after the project.

SEAWATER
Desalination technology aims to deliver high-quality water from sea water through filtering systems. It’s a eco-friendly and cost-effective process that can be used by the municipalities to deliver better quality water and the industries to use cost-free process water from the sea.

Population pressure and urbanization heightened the water tensions. Water scarcity is forecast to worsen where population growth is high such as Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East and South Asia. Uncertainty on water security prompted interest in the implementation of desalination projects in the last twenty years.

According to the International Desalination Association (2015), there are 18,245 desalination plants as of 2015. Considering that this number was 15,300 in 2011, we can say that there has been an exponential growth in the recent years. 45% of the desalination plants in the world are in the West Gulf States. Only 13% is in Europe and 6% is in America.

There is a substantial demand for desalination technologies from the emerging markets in the Middle East, where we are most active.

WASTEWATER
Wastewater treatment is the process of purifying the effluent water by removing some of its containment. This process’ purpose is to make wastewater either suitable to reuse or to discharge back to the environment. Wastewater reuse projects utilize effluent water for beneficial purposes other than the initial use.

UN Water (2015) estimates that globally, 80% of wastewater flows back into to ecosystem without being treated or reused. Wastewater reuse technologies help optimize water costs, minimize environmental impact and protect biodiversity.

Wastewater is the only water resource of which volume increases proportionally with economic development. Reuse projects offer an affordable and sustainable way of obtaining an additional source of water. Reuse systems also positively control saline ingress and recharges aquifers to sustain fresh water resources.

DOMESTIC
Domestic water treatment is an essential infrastructure requirement for human health and livelihood. Household water treatment takes place at the point of water collection rather than at a centralized location. Its primary focus is to improve water quality and reduce harmful chemicals in the water.

2.6 billion people still do not have access clean household water required for personal care. 866 million people do not have access to adequate drinkable, clean water.

We provide domestic water treatment systems for households, residential areas, schools, hospitals, shopping malls and airports to help them use better quality water for an affordable price. We design and engineer energy-positive and cost-efficient domestic water treatment solutions for our domestic clients.
